The EDG Catalogs for POOL currently run on the machine rlstest.cern.ch. Please note that this is a single catalog for all pool users. Please choose LFNs and attributes to avoid name clashes with other users.
To configure POOL to use this, set the environment variable POOL_CATALOG to the value "edgcatalog_http://rlstest.cern.ch:7777/edg-replica-location/services/edg-local-replica-catalog"
Please note that is a pre-production level service, and data is not guaranteed to be kept when the system goes into production with the release of POOL 1.1.
The production service is now available. The machine for connecting to the EDG catalogs are
- rlscms.cern.ch
- rlsatlas.cern.ch
- rlsalice.cern.ch
- rlslhcb.cern.ch
As before, these are a single catalog for each virtual oraganization, you are reminded to choose LFNs and attributes to avoid name clashes with other users in your VO.
The test service on rlstest.cern.ch will continue until further notice.
